Please pardon my dust around here for a while. I switched to a custom theme and I’m having some issues figuring out what’s what while I tweak it.
EDIT:
Ok, I’m not super excited about it, but it’ll do for now, until I figure out something I like better.
EDIT # 2:
Ok, I think I finally like it. Still not perfect but good for now!
We’re gonna call this ‘stuff-your-feelings’ craft time (Taken with Instagram)
That law, as I understand it, was established because they didn’t want people from England to come and usurp the country and be in league with England. I think we’re probably safe from that at this point. I don’t think we’re in danger of having a secret British national loyalist running for president and then selling us back to England or something. We’re probably okay.
That was the point we wanted to make with this episode—two points, I guess. One is, now that Leslie’s a candidate for office, her life will be under a tremendous amount of scrutiny. Also, for the kinds of things that are uncovered about people over which they had no control, who cares? We should all just stop caring about this. If anyone in the world actually does care, you should stop caring about that. [Beat.] Sorry. That was a little ranty. I got angry all over again thinking about the birther movement.
The grand finale! (it had to be one to stir y’all up: aka “Poor Dog”). After 11 months with Maddie, visiting 48 states, driving 60,000 miles together, I have to leave her at a good friends house in Idaho as I adventure into Alaska and Hawaii. We’ll be back one day, on some new adventure. It’s been a blast. I miss her already.
